Williams Grove by Stanley Martin Homes

My experience with the Williams Grove community by Stanley Martin has unfortunately been more stressful than expected. I am sharing only my personal experience and the facts of what occurred, in hopes that it helps future buyers and encourages improvements in communication. Back in August, my partner and I toured a home with one of the sales representatives. We liked the home but were hesitant due to interest rates. During that time, we were informed that the home might be removed from the market until the following year, and that we would need to sign the contract and provide a deposit the next day if we wanted to move forward. I had one of the most disappointing experiences dealing with the sales team at Williams Grove. After visiting the community multiple times and speaking with a representative over the phone—who mentioned new incentives—I decided to walk in again today with my family, expecting a smooth and straightforward process. We even skipped lunch to prioritize what we thought would be an important and exciting step toward purchasing our new home. Originally, I had planned to co-purchase the home with a friend. However, due to financial reasons, he had to step back—a fact I had already discussed with the sales representative. Williams Grove is being built in one of the desired neighborhood in the Cary/Apex border and due to its location, I started to find more of this place. I had one of the most pleasing experience while working with William Eble at Stanley Martin. He was the first person ever I interacted with in our homebuying process and from the very first day, I felt welcomed by him. Due to the high prices that were offered by Stanley Martin and other builders, I backed out only to think about it later. But, William kept in touch with me and kept my energy and spirit going. He is a fantastic gentleman, very polite and courteous who keeps in touch always. He answers all of my questions irrespective of me buying or not. I wish him all the best in life.
