Whisperwood Apartments

It's my genuine pleasure to leave a five-star review for Whisperwood Apartments! I've lived here for two years and have every intention of renewing my lease for a third. I'm even trying to convince a friend to join me here! The complex is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees and greenery, and is thoroughly insulated from the noise of NW 39th and NW 43rd. I feel very safe, since the community is a mixture of young working professionals and elderly residents. There are several quiet neighborhoods nearby which make for great walking with friendly neighbors as well. The location is just really good. My interactions with the landlady and maintenance staff have been very pleasant. My maintenance requests, which have been minor and rare, were responded to in an appropriate and time

It has truly been a blessing to have my brother as a resident at Whisperwood! Mary Ann and her staff have gone overboard to make him feel comfortable and welcomed! Any requests for maintenance is addressed right away! And I love all of the activities that are planned for the residents which are free! The property is very well maintained and it is a family atmosphere! My brother feels safe and he is so happy! He is disabled and he needed to be in a safe, loving and caring place! And we found it At Whisperwood Apartments! We are so grateful!

I first discovered Whisperwood while searching for a place to live in the Gainesville area. Now, in my second year of leasing, I can genuinely say I’m proud to call Whisperwood home. Its convenient location near work and shopping, combined with the quiet atmosphere and friendly neighbors, makes living here feel far from the typical apartment experience.

I love it here at Whisperwood! The staff is absolutely amazing. They treat me like I’m family! It’s tucked away in a quiet NW neighborhood that has quick access to so many places: Millhopper Library, Publix, The Bagel Bakery, post office, Fresh Market and so much more! From the first moment I walked in, Mary Ann has done everything possible to make me feel welcome and at home. On-site maintenance has been so quick every time I’ve needed something. They even offered to change my lightbulbs for me! It’s so nice to call such a calm, peaceful, caring place home.

My elderly mother has lived at Whisperwood Apartments 2 separate times. Once for 14 years and now again for 3 and counting. They have gone above and beyond what most complexes would do for their renters. They even converted her tub/shower into a walk in stand up shower due to age issues. A great peaceful community that is centrally located in our town. I would highly recommend them to any future renters.
