Westwood Tower Apartments

The very first day I arrived there were multiple things wrong. The apartment was not ready. My lease began on July 1, it is now August 14 and I still don’t have a working oven. My bathroom sink was rusted stained scratches, now it feels as though there is a rubbery sticky substance, and when I place things on it, they stick and stain. I requested a porcelain sink and toilet. And the bathtub has stains that I cannot remove. My toilet has rust stains around the rim that has corroded the porcelain. I was told by maintenance to use vinegar to get rid of that rust. I tried and could not do that. Furthermore, I should not have to be the one to get rid of it, because I was not the one who caused the problem. When I first entered the apartment, the coat closet had two different doors. I lived here for a year and some change. I have no complaints about the place honestly. Most problems here exist in all apartment buildings. Management is very helpful and my problems were solved quickly. It's actually very safe and your packages do not go missing. Forget the complainants, some people are just used to that. However, if you're sensitive to spirits, I advice you look elsewhere. Otherwise, it is a great place to live. The location is everything. I absolutely loved it and I miss it.

The staff here goes above and beyond. Ive been living here enough, and property management is prompt with their responses. It’s a fantastic area this being built up. If an elevator does go out, there is always one still available. It’s because they are maintenance seeing it to ensure the best quality for the residence. I do not have issues with rodents. And anything like that is salt around here. It’s an older building, but they done a great job and keeping it up to code since I’ve been here. Sometimes things are shut off very very very very briefly, for maintenance purposes. But I’ve had extremely consistent water, Air conditioning. And I really have a piece of mind here. I have a lot of neighbors that I’ve been here For years and years, because it’s been a place that they can really make

I am writing this review because I truly hope it saves someone from going through what I went through at Westwood Tower Apartments. What I experienced here was completely unacceptable on every level. On my very first night after signing the lease, I saw roaches coming out of the walls. I had barely put my belongings down before realizing my unit was not even close to being ready for a tenant. The stove top was dirty. There was mold in the restroom. The blinds would fall off constantly. There was no balcony screen door. The washer and dryer broke over and over. The air conditioning unit flooded my carpet and I had to live without carpet for an entire week while it was torn up and replaced. As a disabled veteran, trying to manage my health, care for my family, and deal with these conditions

While the location and layout of the apartments are commendable, there are serious issues regarding the management and maintenance that potential renters should be aware of. Firstly, the condition of the essential facilities like elevators and fire alarms is deeply concerning.
