Westwood Apartments

This place is a complete and utter disaster. The worst living conditions I've ever seen or lived in. I'm going to go point by point. 1. The smoking in the building. The common areas smell so incredibly bad, its dangerous and they just don't care. 2. The incredibly loud noises. I wrote over 30 emails over a year about the noises and they NEVER ever stopped. i sent videos too. never stopped. 3. The laundry facilities. Disgusting and one times they burned half of my clothes. I couldn't even get an apology out of them. what's worse is a few months before i left they raised the prices on the laundry. 4. The smells. Between the smoke and the urine smells, its hard to say what is worse. 5. When i moved out, i had it professionally cleaned. That didn't stop them from charging me hundreds of dollar

My Husband and I were going to move into the Westwood Apartments unfortunately I had to have a cosigner and my cosigner backed out at the last moment so we couldn’t move in now. This is where the nightmare has begun and is continuing. I gave Them $2090 total the $200 deposit the priority rent as well as the security deposit which is the grand total $2090 now if you can’t get an apartment I imagine that you would be able to get a refund for your apartment. I called down to the rental office and she said that we’ll put it out on 23 December 2025. It is now January 10, 2026. No one will return my phone calls. Can be a complete nightmare! As a current resident of more than 3 years, I have been overall quite happy here and that is largely because I have tried to only go out when I have to such as going to work or doctor's appointments. The reason for that is solely because of parking issues that exist and the fear of not being able to reclaim a decent space in front of my building (or in my case, in front of my apartment). The apartments are especially nice and cozy. Area is very safe, and you feel safe and secure here. However, depending on what building your apartment is in and where your apartment is, parking can be a complete and total nightmare. I will be updating this when I move out. To owner's response, my husband and I have spoken up throughout living here, and our concerns go unaddressed. Recently, the staff here put up a dog waste station to provide something for the tenants, and then took it down a couple months later. The staff here do things like vacuum hallways once in a while, while not cleaning the stairs. Trash sits on the ground outside. Dumpster areas are covered with trash to the point where I do not want to use nor touch it to dispose of things. One of the maintenance workers yells demands at tenants from his truck. I’ve been here over a year and a half and have overall had a pleasant experience. There was some turnover for a stretch of time, but the new property manager, Andrea, is working diligently to restore the quality residents had previously experienced. Turnover in maintenance staff is beyond management control but I’ve had several recent work orders performed professionally and correctly by Miguel. I am pleased with the turn around and am confident that any issues brought to Andrea’s attention will be addressed accordingly.
