Western Heights

Not what you think be very careful when going there. Will have the cops called for nothing or your things come up missing. The management will not put you as a priority or be fair. You will have your personal life talked about as well as your financial life. They will kick you out and keep you in the system so they still get funding from the government. I would not recommend having to live there and even more so with your family. They care more about painting stairs instead of fixing the apartments that have water damage and broken heating and air. Very little funding goes back into the apartments and lots of issues not great to have people with poor health or weak immune system stay. All ventilation has been neglected for a long time. Housing has never been easier. Thank you to Carla and her assistant in the office. They are so welcoming and this community feels like a family. They go above and beyond to take care of their residents and keep the kids occupied and safe. Their maintenance team is quick and does the best they can with what they have at all times

Management is poorly designed. The takeover of another owner has been difficult and unfair to those whom already resided there, as they do not honor your lease as HUD requires. Maintenance is one person they expect to do everything in impossible timing because they refuse to hire more help, but the maintenance man has exceptional knowledge of his work and is very kind. The children's play area is beyond outdated. For the community being children friendly, there isn't even enough play ground item's for all children. It needs complete update! The only benefit is honestly the income based apartments, and that's if they honor HUD's regulations.

Good apartments. There are 1, 2, or 3 bedroom units available. They have mailboxes and a laundrymat. They also have a playground for the kiddos. A wonderful community with great management.
