West Wind Apartments

Both the manager, and assistant manager, Jerricia, in the office were absolutely wonderful to us. They were welcoming and led us through every step of the process from showing the apartment and amenities, to signing the lease! Any problems are quickly addressed by maintenance, Alvin and Chuck...they are on top of it and super professional and friendly. We just moved in, and are so happy with everything we've experienced so far!

This apartment complex should be your last choice. The management has been nothing but difficult, unhelpful and borderline spiteful. I will break down the major concerns: Management: This apartment complex has undergone at least 3 large shifts in the last two years, with property management changes. This has led to changing prices, fees and difficulty with getting my payments submitted due to constantly changing regulations and Apartment portal sites. The office is difficult to get ahold of, phones are always sent to voicemail with no significant response to questions or concerns. To update this, the recent payment portal is implementing a 44$ ( or 3.5%) 'convenience fee', despite being anything but convenient trying to sign up for this portal. We moved into this apartment and immediately faced serious habitability issues. From the first day, multiple essential systems and appliances were not working, including the oven, stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, and window blinds. Most concerning, there is no functioning electricity in the bedrooms — no lights and no working outlets — making these rooms unusable and unsafe. We reported these problems multiple times (3–4 times) to maintenance and management. While a few minor items were partially addressed, the majority of issues remain unresolved. We were told there is a staffing shortage, which does not justify renting out an apartment in this condition. We even had to fix some plumbing issues ourselves just to make the apartment usable. I just want to thank Jerricia and Lakeya for making my transition amazing! They were professional and pleasant through the entire process. I recently came from a complex that wasn’t so great for my boys and I. My kids are happy and so am I. I am thankful to be apart of this complex! Thank you!

We've had a leak from our bathroom ceiling for over a week, have spoken in person to office personnel about it, called the emergency maintenance line about it (which was not answered nor followed up on from multiple voicemail), and shown pictures of the issue. No one has even come out to look at it, let alone fix it. The area these apartments are in is great, the price is okay for the location, but if ANYTHING goes wrong during your stay it will never be addressed or fixed because they take the near 2k dollars a month year long lease tenants give them and put all the work on one single repair man for the entire complex.
