Let’s set the scene; you work nights in a hospital and you park on the street bc the building garage is obviously full…nyc gets a foot of snow and of course i’m parked on the side of the road that the plows move all the snow to.. it’s Monday morning you have work that night and you ask the building front desk “hey can you ask maintenance if i can borrow a shovel” bc im just a girl and don’t have one. the new doorman (they fired all the ones you knew before) says i’ll ask them. To which i respond do you mind just giving me carlos (the super’s) number..he says “i can’t do that” ok weird sure. 15 min later while im waiting for the shovel that never comes he calls me and says actually maintenance cant give our equipment to any resident. A Shovel… BIZARRE. So what do i do you may ask…well the s

Can’t say enough good things about this building or my leasing agent - Bari! Been in the building over three years now across three different units. Management has been accommodating in allowing switches to larger floor layouts mid-lease and was very responsive throughout the process. Whenever I need something from Bari, she’s a text away to show a new apartment or even get something printed for me! The staff is so friendly and welcoming and attentive to resident needs and go out of their way to remember all the building tenants. As a long time resident of Greenpoint definitely one of the best amenity buildings the area has to offer - including an indoor and outdoor pool all included at no additional cost with the amenity package.

I just resigned for year 2 at the building, honestly enjoy it a lot and have 0 reasons I would want to move out. The apartment itself is nice and new, appliances all work, never had an issue with the water, etc. Never had any real issues with the apartment itself, small things will happen like the HVAC went out for a little bit but the building fixed it fast enough, nothing is ever a big deal at all. Amenities are great to have, honestly the biggest reason I'm in the building is all of the things you can just do without having to leave. Massive shoutout to Bari, always a huge help even if it has nothing to do with the leasing office haha + super accommodating if you want to explore the building/ other units! From what I can tell if you're a chill resident the management team is easy to

I cannot believe I’m writing this review after what was a positive experience for over a year. Unfortunately, during the second year of our tenancy, we experienced repeated and serious negligence from the management company and their third-party contractors. Our issues included two floods in the basement storage area, which damaged our personal property; $1,200 worth of dry cleaning that was misplaced and ultimately lost, which management admitted responsibility for but took over two months to resolve; and two full weeks without heat during the coldest part of the year. Most concerning, on the day maintenance was scheduled to complete repairs to restore heat, workers left our apartment window open and unattended for approximately five hours, with two pets inside the unit. This was not on

Halcyon management has been consistently rude and difficult to work with since the lease signing. They are not responsive to calls and emails, even when something is urgent. There have been countless mechanical issues with the building despite it being new - flooding in the storage rooms, pipes bursting and flooding apartments. Pretty much everyone has been stuck in the elevators. I’ve consistently heard this is the worst managed building people have lived in. Will be moving out.
