We need someone from West Shore to contact our office regarding an outstanding balance before we seek legal action. Update- Within 20 minutes of us making this review West Shore called our office and paid the invoice. Our office has spent months trying to contact several people from West Shore with no response via phone calls, emails and text. Our company will no longer provide any services to West Shore. Let this be a warning to any future vendors.

This is about Live Oaks at Killearn Apartments. Their parent company is West-Shore, LLC, so this is about them, too. The pictures are what they consider to be a “move-in ready” apartment, as well as some of the property. I rented an apartment at Live Oaks at Killearn, way back in May, after which they refused to let me look at the place until I signed a lease and paid the rent plus deposit. This was after being reassured by three different staff memvers that I could do a walkthrough before accepting the keys for the apartment. I reported it immediately, but despite multiple maintenance requests, follow-ups, and promises, it was never fixed. I had to take my laundry elsewhere for months—despite paying for a unit with in-unit appliances as advertised. I wish I could give zero stars for the sake of my parents’ experience with Westshore property management group. The Management at Sweetwater Apartments (Charleston SC), led by Alyssa, is atrocious. Despite my parents providing proper 60-day notice via email in August, management falsely claimed they never received it. Even after we showed screenshot proof, they added two extra months to the lease, which my parents couldn’t afford. When they moved out by the original lease end date and turned in their keys, management ironically decided to “evict” them—despite the fact they were already gone.
