West Scenic Apartments

I have recently moved out of these apartments and the whole 2 years I was here I was told it was definitely a mess. Starting with my car getting broken into. They have a camera facing the apartment across the street but none facing the apartments there for not caring about the residents at all. I signed the form saying I was moving and not resigning lease. I moved when I told them I would move and they still tried to charge me for January 2025. Proceed to now, they are trying to charge me for a fringe that they put in the apartment that’s still there and still looking how they put it there and when I did a walk through when first moving in, the carpet was being dried by the windows being opened. We were informed by the leasing manager that there was a 3 bedroom available. We ONLY applied because they told us it was available and that they would hold it specifically for us. At the same time, we were inquiring about a 2 bedroom apartment on the bottom floor for my handicapped mother. The same leasing agent Erica informed us she had a family moving out that day! So it would be available for my mother in a few weeks and she would also hold it for her. We completed the applications and paid for the fees and waited. We go on our family vacation with anticipation that when we returned to Arkansas, our apartments would be ready and we can give them the deposit and rent . I lived in West Scenic Apartments for 3 Years and let me tell you that the Office Manager Mary and the Assistant Manager Annie do not have great customer service skills. If you plan in signing a lease with them DON'T, DO NOT PASS GO AND DO NOT COLLECT $200 especially if those two are still in the office . They don't have any amenities: no swimming pool, no playground for the kids and no washer and dryer connections. The laundry facility that they suppose to provide the machines don't work. Then you have the owner of the property who never comes out to make sure that his apartment complex is running smoothly. Granted, I've only been here for a few weeks, but Its already been a very positive experience! If you want a homey type of apartment, but where issues get fixed in a reasonable amount of time; where they love animals; they like getting to know residents; neighbors are friendly; seriously you need to check this place out.

Illegal eviction. Tried to make it look like we broke our lease, but we were given 2 weeks to pack and move. We can't rent now due to the management reporting that we owe unpaid rent for the last month that we weren't there. The maintenance man at the time broke my living room blinds while repairing a window. Manager accused me of lying and claimed we had broken it. They also have tried to charge me for a window that was already cracked when we moved in. (After we moved out, manager moved into our apartment...)
