I recently moved here and want to sincerely compliment the team for making the transition so smooth. Ashley from the leasing team has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She ensured I had a seamless move-in experience, patiently addressed my parking questions, and made sure my apartment was in perfect condition before I arrived. Her welcoming and friendly demeanor truly made me feel at home from day one.

I've lived in many apartment communities over the years, but none impressed me as much as AVA Belltown. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable and professional and the facility is sensibly designed and beautifully appointed. Combine this with a sky-high walkability score and it makes for an ideal urban home, close to every worthwhile feature and attraction. I rented a 1 bedroom with 1 bath and I'm very happy with the floorpan and the spacious rooms. The finishings are very nice. Gone are the sliding or accordion doors of lower tier apartment communities. A full-size washer and dryer, built-in lighting and contemporary cabinetry appealed to my modern tastes. Please note older reviews (mostly positive) are for the apartment building under AVA management, which was great. Recently this transferred to WES and everything changed for the worst. Living at this property has been extremely disappointing over the past few months. A significant water damage issue occurred in my apartment in June, and since then, parts of my apartment have been left in a partially deconstructed state. Walls have been removed in the hallway, bedroom, and bathroom, the bedroom door was taken out, the closet carpet stripped, and part of the bathroom flooring pulled up. I reached out to management multiple times requesting details regarding timeline for repairs, matching the rent to the current living situation; after almost 3 months the repairs have yet to be completed. Save your energy and time and DO NOT APPLY here. I wish I had read the reviews before applying and paying the holding deposit. I had originally applied for the apartment on a Wednesday got approved the same day & had to follow up multiple times to get the leasing agreement. Despite being promised to be sent the agreement on Friday, I didnt receive it by the deadline. I received it 72 hours later instead with no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. Because of the breakdown in communication (& I was on a deadline to sign a new lease)I decided to withdraw my application and asked for my deposit back. They decided to not refund it despite the fact that it was entirely the leasing manager (Ashley) fault.

I keep being told management needs a reason why I'm moving out so here it goes: This property got bought in May 2024 by Indigo Property Management and has been a nightmare ever since. I originally signed a lease with Avalon and they were great. The first two months Indigo messed up my billing. The second month they even tried to tell me my rent was late when actually they double charged me for parking and I was paid in full. Each time I had to email them to let them know the error, no review or auditing on their side to make sure things were correct first. Then began the common area charges going up wildly (doubled) seemingly because their contractors were renovating the lobby. When asked why they went up, was left with no response except they'd look into it, which they unsurprisingly neve
