RUN!! DO NOT ENGAGE WITH ERIKA LAMB My experience with WelcomeHome Property Management (Erika & Albert Lamb) was deeply negative and involved conduct that no tenant should have to endure. Over several years—and especially in 2025—I encountered retaliation, improper charges, inaccurate accounting, and ongoing harassment, all of which I formally reported to the Sierra Nevada REALTORS® Ethics Committee and the Nevada Real Estate Division. WelcomeHome added approximately $18,000 over 6 years in unauthorized and fabricated fees, including repeated “garage door repair” charges, unnecessary process service fees, and monthly add-on charges that were never agreed to in the lease. They also posted late fees even when rent was paid in full and on time. These charges were not disclosed to the property

Avoid This Property Management Company – Dishonest and Aggressive I would strongly advise against renting from this property management company. Our experience was incredibly frustrating and ultimately felt like we were being taken advantage of. We were charged $250 for a pipe repair without ever being contacted, consulted, or quoted for the work. When we tried to schedule a meeting to discuss the charge, they refused to meet, ignored our calls, and eventually threatened us with eviction unless we paid. We were forced to pay for something we had no opportunity to approve or dispute. When we moved out, we gave more than 30 days' notice, professionally cleaned the carpets and the home, and even touched up the walls. Despite this, they withheld $2,100 of our security deposit. My daughter and I rented a nice home in the Southeast Reno for 1 year. Getting the approval and moving in was pretty seamless but I want to caution anyone who wants to get their deposit back - DO NOT RENT from Welcome Home. They will rob you! We left the house spotless as both of us had rented before and always left the rentals in the best condition as we know how important it is to be good tenants who pay their rent on time and also take care of the home as if we owned it. We spent money monthly for a lawn service that came in every two weeks. We had the carpets cleaned before we left. We both spent time and money to get the bouse spotless cleaning each room.
