Had a good tour with Paula. Staff were friendly. Apartment is in decent size and shape. Facility is clean. Pricing is reasonable. Location is great. Walking distance to Weis supermarket , Chase bank and other businesses and shops.

Not a good place if you're a senior. My mother moved in 2017 before they switched the building manager. At that time it was a wonderful place to live. Now it's rather dirty and unkept. The new manager Paula Cooper is inexperienced. My mother was 90 and I wanted to read her lease before she signed it. Paula would not allow me to read the lease before signing even though my mother gave me permission. I found several things missing, rental deposit along with her pet deposit and monthly pet fee. She rented the theater room for a party in 2018 for $50, then in 2023 for $200 (Paula had just become building manager), then again in 2025 for $70 even though the website says $50. Also don't bother trying to contact Grady Management, because they don't answer the phones. My mother passed away in Febr

Had the pleasure of touring the property on behalf of a senior friend with Paula. First I want to say thank you for explaining everything and being so gracious. The building is perfect and I got a chance to interact with some of the amazing tenants. When it’s time to secure a lease ,Waverly Gardens is top on our list 🙂

A relative lived here for a few years. Seems like a nice place but she felt too young to be there. She still worked full time and lots of residents were using walkers or much more elderly so it made her a bit depressed. Understandable, I'd feel the same and you might too if you're not of a certain age. Very clean and classy looking inside. Lots of activities to get involved with if that's your thing. They have a huge room that you can use for parties which is nice since the apartments are kind of small. No washers/dryers in apartments so you have to use a laundry room. It has a smell, you know like a nursing home kind of smell, that I don't understand. Well I do because it's for older folks but it's not a nursing home. This place was absolutely wonderful before the new manager took over. Be aware that new manager is charging seniors $100 for a spare key. That used be $10.00. Along with amenities that used to be included now have to be reserved for a $200 dollar fee. Residents are scared to speak, have tried to speak but are shut down. Playing cards, in the game rooms that used to be open areas for residence to relax, now have to be scheduled events. That otherwise they were allowed to enjoy freely. Far as I am concerned this is elder abuse, and needs to Stop these seniors barely have enough money for rent. They should not feel that they have to be in bed by 7pm and they cannot use amenities that are included for an extra fee. PLEASE, STOP the mistreatment, spoken on behalf of the Waverly Garden Seniors.
