Waterway Crossing Apartments

If I could give 0 stars I would. Flea and roach infested and pest control only comes out once a month! Edit: 09/10/25 no there’s no confusion I had a relative that lived out there, and it’s horribly infested with pests, and stray cats everywhere!

Great experience moving in. Everything was easy and simple moved in within 2 days of coming to the office. The Office Manager is very nice and professional! If your looking to sign a lease. Sherri is the property manager and she will take good care of you.

The biggest issue with Waterway Crossing Apartments isn’t the property, it’s the property “manager.” The current manager consistently communicates with residents in an aggressive, condescending tone that’s completely unprofessional and uncalled for. Her memos read more like angry Facebook rants than official community notices, with bolded, all-caps shouting, sarcastic phrasing, and a tone that scolds residents instead of informing them. It’s not just unhelpful, it’s downright hostile. And this isn’t a one-off. It’s a pattern. When concerns are brought to her directly, she doesn’t de-escalate, she doubles down. Her default response is to get defensive, justify her own poor attitude, and excuse the inappropriate, sometimes aggressive behavior of her “favorite” tenants. There’s obvious favor

7/3/2017- The environment around this property has changed tremendously since the new manager took over. The property is clean, the maintenance crew (Derek and Dave) is great, and the manager is wonderful. We have been in our apartment for two months now and love it! The property is well maintained, and the pool area is nice. We have no complaints. We never have any issues with our neighbors, they all seem family oriented and we love that. We love that the property is dog friendly, and the prices, for Myrtle Beach, are not that bad!! Thanks Anita for all of your help with moving into our new apartment, the transition could not have been any easier!

If you value quite, privacy and sleep, this is NOT the place for you. Sadly I have not had a good night sleep in over a year and a half. No one that is employed here is professional, understanding or even respectful. I totally regret signing a lease here. This has been the worst renting experience I have ever had and i have lived in Myrtle Beach for 12 years. Stay away! Move anywhere else.
