Walton Crossing

I have lived here for a year and a half. I'm going to give my honest review..... As far as the office personnel and management, they are WONDERFUL!! I have never had them be anything but Kind to me. Brandi and Polly are superb. Maintenance... They are always addressing the problems right away. Preston is very polite everytime he comes to my apartment. Fixes things in a timely manner. As far as cleanliness goes, certain areas and buildings are better than others. But that has somewhat to do with the tenants. I know Lindsey gets a bad rap but honestly I've never had an issue here. If you pay your rent on time and dont cause trouble , I dont see what the problem could possibly be. I'm giving 5 stars for my experience!!

I enjoyed my year lease stay with Walton Crossing Apartments. Here is my experience and advice for those looking for apartments in NWA and if it’s worth it here. Pros: - quiet and nice neighbors (in my experience) - a 544 sq ft one bedroom is perfect for somebody just living on their own and just want some company from time to time - pretty clean - fixes apartment issues pretty quick (usually same day or a day wait) - 2-3 bedroom apartments are pretty decent/big. Has some friends at the same apartment complex with more room and it was pretty big even with two bedrooms! - Office people are very nice and sweet! Cons: - was told my payment would be $850 even if I were on the first floor (I applied for second but took the next avail) but then when I signed papers, noticed it said $920. Asked

Dont lease out for rent here. Check the market reviews once before moving in. Though the low rent attracts you. Management will suprise you with many hidden costs while moving out. Returned the unit way better than the condition when we moved in. However they charged 750$ for stove top, carpet, toilet seats, painting, cleaning what not. They are scamming people with almost two months of rent while moving out. When we asked about the proofs on damage they are reluctant to provide and listen to our proofs simply imposed these charges ridiculously. Maintainence quality is also poor. Be very cautious with move-out charges at Walton Crossing. I left my unit clean and in good condition, yet was charged for replacements and repairs that I do not believe were necessary. No inspection photos or invoices were provided to justify these charges. What is concerning is that several other reviews describe very similar issues, particularly regarding stove top charges. This experience felt unfair and poorly handled. I highly recommend documenting everything before moving out.

Horrible experience. This apartment complex is a complete scam. They keep the rent low but steal money from residents during move-out by imposing outrageous and unjustified fines — especially for the stovetop. Most other reviews mention the exact same issue, so it’s clearly a pattern. They make it almost impossible to get your deposit back and charge you for things you didn’t damage. Never rent here. Save yourself the stress and money. Horrible management and terrible people to deal with.
