Walden Station

Apartments are fine, although it’s been months and we are unable to get access keys for the “24/7” amenities. They should offer affected tenants reduced rent prices for the inconvenience. Management comes off rude and could use professionalism and hospitality training.

Lived at Walden Station for 3 years and it’s gone downhill fast. Furniture is ancient and falling apart. Last year the washing machine broke and they took over a month to fix it(only after daily emails)because “it’s not an amenity.” Safety is bad: friends had cars robbed in both visitor and resident parking. Pest control is a joke! summer means roaches everywhere. Rent prices are random and unfair. people with the exact same living conditions pay different amounts. They raised rent this year and then offered lower rates to others after leases were signed. Amenities are a mess: dirty pool with strong chlorine smell, BBQ area smells like rotten meat, and gym equipment is broken. Would not recommend renewing or moving in.

this apartment complex is very nice expect the fact that there is ZERO insulation in the walls or floor. I can hear everything from my upstairs and downstairs neighbors from conversations, walking, moving furniture, and their tv/music. if you are willing to buy ear plugs this would be a great spot for you but if you are above someone who doesn’t like you, you will get noise complaints until you are kicked out. lastly the maintenance is the best part of this place, each worker is so kind and hard working. they just don’t listen when you ask to be “notified before entry” if you are at work or if you didn’t hear the doorbell.

I am a current resident, so I can attest that this review is true in all statements and accurate to my experience at Walden station student living. I would say that even though the rent went up this year, I really don’t have any issues with the apartment unit itself. I think it has fine amenities and decent utility policies. The maintenance staff specifically Jamar is awesome and super helpful. Generally though, it has lost a couple of stars for me because of the office and technology services surrounding payments and information. The office almost always closes a half hour before the posted hours, and is closed for their very long lunch breaks (definitely over an hour) which is almost always an inconvenience. Just renewed for my third year here. A very good student housing option compared to others in the area. Edisson and the maintenance team are top notch. The only gripe I have had with the place over this time has been the included furniture.
