Walden at Chatham Center Apartments

I lived here for 4 years while in college, and I would never recommend these apartments to anyone. The place was full of bugs, the washer and dryer in my unit were broken for 6 months, and despite reporting it multiple times, the office staff insisted I “never filed a work order.” That’s literally their job, yet they just sit around chatting. The only person who was ever kind or helpful was Trish. Heidi and Selena, on the other hand, were rude, dismissive, and lacked basic customer service skills. I had workmen walk into my apartment unannounced multiple times, which is unsafe—especially as a young woman living alone. We decided to stop by and tour the neighborhood and it was such a pleasant experience that we decided to put in an application. From the moment we walked in Selena greeted us and detailed explained the process, amenities, and gave us a tour. I am genuinely excited to join the neighborhood and of course to decorate my new space. Thank you Selena and team!

I would not recommend living here. If you have any maintenance that need fixing, be ready to hear back in 3 months for someone to just come out an look at it, then another few months to fix it. If you think of going to the pool during summer, good luck. The pool was always green, nobody to clean it. The dumpster is never clear to throw trash away and the collectors will not come most day to pick up at the door. The management will just say we have someone coming to clean it, but I'm sure they just imagine it clean all the time to them. Mold throughout the buildings, carpets never clean when move in. Selena was very patient, knowledgeable, and kind. We decided to stop before our appointment time since we were in the neighborhood, she welcomed us then proceeded to show us the apartment.

Impossible to talk to or work with. Neicie was a joke. Total and incompetence in the office. Can’t get a hold of anybody from Westshore properties. All their properties are ran the same way. The emergency sprinkler system outside of my unit was always going off. Beeping constantly as well as others around the property. Definitely can’t be up to fire code. Not to mention they raised my rent 46% and I know they’re gonna do it again if I stayed and probably charge me for things that are messed up that have nothing to do with me ie mold, worn out carpet, old appliances, the gate that is always broken, the valet tr
