My previous management company changed to Richey management two years into my lease period in 2022. Richey took over the management of my property. Upon leaving the property, Colin Richey, the owner overcharged me several hundred dollars for menial things that were actually purchased in the building. They took much longer than 45 days to respond to me in regards to my security deposit which they kept even though the home was in pristine condition. I have tried to mitigate the damages that they claimed were created. Although I have photos to prove Otherwise. This was the most controversial, contested move I’ve ever had. The owner is greedy and retaliatory. There was no kindness and understanding-they are certainly unprofessional, and greedy. I would NEVER suggest this company to anyone. If

For the time that I used Virginia Property Management Group, I have to say it was extremely disappointing. Mike R. was my initial property manager, and while things started off fine, everything quickly went downhill. Communication was terrible — I would wait a full day or longer for responses to the simplest questions. There was no sense of urgency from Mike, and it became incredibly frustrating. Then it somehow got worse. I received a random call from a new property manager, Enrique M., informing me that my tenant had already moved out due to military orders — something I was finding out after the fact. She walked the property with me, identifying and recommending what needs to be done to the house to maximize the value!
