Villas at Lakewood Apartment Homes

My experience overall has been good. Why not great? The first management team lied to us about fees. They have been replaced with a new management team. The new management team is great. But I believe they are being held back by corporate There are approximately 100 lights out at this complex. About 30 garage lights and 66 front and side lights The front of the building is almost completely dark at night. I witness many residents appearing scared when walking their dogs. Residents refuse to listen to management. They are putting out trash in the garage. Because of their ignorance I’ve noticed rats coming out of the trash. I’ve reported this to management but haven’t seen any attempt to correct the rodent issue. They have asked residents on numerous occasions to stop with their nonsens

The villas are nice yes , BUT this is what I see out my window ..this week. It’s always something. Rats …. Yes!!! People just don’t care. We definitely won’t be renewing and trying to leave early… And yes it’s the people….The mgmt can do so much, they try to keep it clean daily but it always end up like this. And it’s not just the children, I’ve peeped grown ups throwing the trash and wherever it lands … it lands!!!

The halls on the 4th floor are routinely dirty likely due to spills or leaks from the valet garbage pick up. They should be mopped at least every 10 days. The trash build up the garage is unnecessary. Management should build a small top open structure to hold the garbage. No one wants to see garbage piled up. We pay too much rent to have dirty halls and see garbage.

If a tenant parks on the curb to unload they get threatened with towing but a contractor can park in a fire lane all day which is illegal. the parking lot is 80 feet away. When you take it to the office the only response is they are contractors. I was a contractor for 29 years and would never allow that.

Since Ms. Krystal has taken over this property, she has been nothing but a breath of fresh air for our community . From her professionalism to organizing the back to school back pack drive and having maintenance out early to ensure the property is clean, she goes over and beyond. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful place to live .
