Villages at West Laurel

I am extremely disappointed and stressed because of the way this leasing office has handled my lease renewal. I have been trying to renew my lease, but the process has been completely unprofessional and disorganized. One of the leaseholder’s emails was removed from the system without explanation, and now the contract cannot be completed because all required signatures are not in place. When I went to the leasing office multiple times (including today), they told me they cannot fix it and that everything must be handled by another office. However, they refuse to provide a phone number or direct contact information — only an email address. We have sent emails and received no response. Because of this confusion, I lost access to the resident portal and have no clear way to renew my lease. O

Editing my review as the management team was able to fix every issue I had addressed previously. We have adequate parking and maintenance issues are addressed accordingly. I am going on 4 years here this coming January and this apartment has helped me get through school with my small children. I don’t have any issues with loud noises on our side of the complex, there isn’t a lot of traffic or any bad activity like in some previous posts. Seems to be mostly families living here or college students. They have a great dog park and my kids enjoy the park and pool as well. Also gym was just upgraded and it really is amazing. Management is responsive and helpful if you reach out properly. I have small children and have never been worried about my safety or anyone breaking in here either. Great s

I’ve had a very disappointing experience with the leasing staff in this community office. Communication has been slow and unhelpful, and it often feels like concerns from residents are ignored or pushed aside. When I reached out for assistance, I either didn’t receive a response or had to follow up multiple times just to get basic information. Professionalism and courtesy seem to be lacking, and there has been very little effort to provide good customer service or clear guidance. As a resident, I expected better support and respect from the leasing team. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves the way residents are treated.

I stayed at 5514 Chaparral Ct for 12 months and it was one of the WORST places I’ve ever stayed. For the first 5-6 months of our lease, my family dealt with a RAT and ROACH infestation. We called maintenance and pest control almost everyday but they did LESS than nothing to help us. I had to patch EVERY hole in the apartment MYSELF. There were holes in the closet, under the kitchen sink, behind the stove, in cabinets, etc. we have VIDEO evidence of this all. The rats ate through our furniture, ate our food, and the roaches got into our food as well. If it wasn’t rodents, we lived under a family of 10 and their kids would be running and STOMPING above our heads almost every night, and it was so frustrating.
