Village One Apartments

I had a very disappointing experience with the leasing office staff here. When we asked to see the unit in person— just like the standard room we were shown the day before—the staff member was impatient and unprofessional. We simply wanted to view the place before making a long-term decision, which is completely reasonable. The attitude we received made us feel disrespected, and at one point it felt as if we were being treated differently because we are foreigners. We have always had legal status here, and we expect to be treated with basic respect. This experience has made us reconsider this property, and I hope management will address the staff’s behavior and improve their customer service.

I have lived at Village One over 6 years and have no plans on moving. We are still close to all that the capital district has to offer, but due to the location, still feels like we are in small town home America. They are one of the few places that allow pets, and they welcome the fur babies too. The new owners have taken on some amazing changes to the property. The best part of the complex is the office manager, Connie. She is an absolute delight, always a kind word and will do the best she can to help you out.

My dad is 83 and has live at Village One for 8+ years . He loves it ! He has made friends that look out for him . It’s a nice community . Connie in the office is absolutely incredible. She’s always sweet and willing to accommodate anything that we asked for . . I’ve never met a nicer rental office manager and I’m very grateful to her . she’s been he best !!

Come here if you want to be disrespected and essentially insulted by management, the legendary rude lady that’s been in the reviews for years is still somehow working here everyday apart from Sunday

My partner rented here for a bit over a year. Nothing but problems and unresponsive staff. Constant issues with bug infestations and the smell of cigarettes. No documents collected for pets so likely dogs there with out proper shots. Now , unsurprisingly it's a nightmare to get security deposit back, no response or answering phones, no email address, and a permanently down website, all a bit sketchy. This complex is disgusting, they will not respond to you in any reasonable time frame, you will have bugs, your apartment will smell like cigarettes and you will not be happy with your interactions with the staff and it's not even priced to compensate for these things. If you are fine with these things as well as not receiving your security back, this place may be acceptable for you.
