Village At Windermere Apartments

We lived here for four years The first couple years or so were great, and then the property was sold to current ownership who are not shy at all about raising the rent ~12% each year with no value added, and seem to pride themselves on training management to be cold and heartless They keep a skeleton maintenance crew, who work miracles with the little resources that they have. Eric is an Angel. They advertise as luxury apartments… Sure they have a pool and a small gym… But make no mistake, everything else is done on the cheap If you are looking here, look elsewhere – you can definitely do better

I have been living here for 2 years. It is a really beautiful location. Office staff are friendly and helpful. Apartment is spacious is comfortable. Maintenance staff are efficient and diligent. Neighbors are friendly, and it is a vibrant but peaceful community. I am really enjoying my stay here.

I’ve been living here for almost 2 years now and I absolutely love it here! Things are quiet and the community is very close to the town of West Chester. Philadelphia is also within a short car ride away. The apartments are renovated and pet friendly. Which was a must for me as I knew I was getting a dog when I moved here. Maintenance is always on top of their game and are always working to keep the community clean. They are also quick to resolve requests. My dryer randomly stopped working one night and the next morning they were at my apartment trying to fix it and got me a new one. The residents are all very nice and I truly felt welcomed right away by the staff. They make it feel like home here! I could go on forever, but long story short, the Windermere is a wonderful place to live!! I

The Village at Windermere is a beautiful place to live in West Chester. The apartments are beautiful, spacious, and well-priced! We’ve only been here for one month, but every neighbor and resident has been nice and welcoming! Not only that, but also the staff are fantastic. Maintenance guys are fast, professional and very helpful. The assistant property manager Amanda, has been especially great. She has been extremely professional, compassionate, and has gone the extra mile for us! She has answered all questions we have had/fixed any of problems in a quickly manner. We highly recommend this apartment complex for anyone looking for a new home!

I lived here in September 2022-2023. Although the apartments are in a great location and were remodeled there were so many issues. Our laundry door would come off the slide bar and just swing around, someone came to fix it and it was still crooked and then eventually came off again. We had a big water spot in the ceiling (we lived on second floor building 1507). We had an ant infestation coming out of the bathroom shower faucet. Patio screen door was crooked as well and was hard to close shut. The worst part was the guy below us was a smoker in the apartment. We called multiple times to complain about the smell traveling up to our apartment and nothing was done. I believe they switched property manager about 1-2x while we were living there and having a straight contact with someone was dif
