Village at Stamford

Poor management, elevator has been broken for 12+ months, with no information about when it will be fixed. Halls and stairwells usually dirty. Garbage truck makes immense noise at 4am weekly. Price is the only semi beneficial factor… and then you have to pay for utilities they forget to mention, or don’t make you aware, until you’re bill is over 1k and they state they’ll just send you to collections once you move out. Location is the only +.

This place is great, I have no complaints and have been here almost a year. Management and Maintenance are very responsive and some of the negative reviews below surprise me. You can walk pretty much anywhere downtown, parking is convenient and affordable, and the apartments are spacious compared to many of the newer one's in the area.

Simply amazing !!! I have been staying in this apartment since November 2019 and this place is simply amazing. The leasing apartment office duo (Michelle & Mina) managing the apartment complex office are very good and prompt. The amenities within the apartment are also well maintained. Lot of underground covered parking as well. The apartment common areas are well kept and neat and clean. Overall a gr8 place to stay near Stamford downtown...

I lived here for nearly two years and never had a single issue. Management was always prompt to answer queries and any maintenance issues (though there weren't any of note) were handled in expedient fashion. The distance to the bars and restaurants couldn't be closer and for walkers/runners, I almost never took the same route since there's so many options downtown. The additional public rooms like the gym were always properly cleaned and ready for use. I rented the front TV room for a party of about 15 family and friends and it was perfect since it had an extra fridge and oven for food. Would live here again.

Michelle and Mina in the leasing office were great to work with. They were both accommodating, cordial, responsive, receptive and made typically a stressful situation (moving) a smooth one. Because of them my transition was enjoyable; with so many living choices in Stamford working with them made my choice an easy one. As far facilities, when I looked at this complex last year nothing stood out; but since take over of new management the facilities are impressive especially for the location. With a pool being considered I’m glad I got into this complex early.
