Village at Lionsgate Apartments

I absolutely love living at the Village at Lionsgate! The property is beautiful, and the maintenance team does a great job keeping everything looking great. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful, but earlier this week I had the pleasure of meeting and being helped by the new Property Manager, Jason. In my 40+ years of renting, I can honestly say I’ve never experienced the level of passion and genuine care he showed while talking about recent improvements and future plans for the community. It gave me goosebumps! What stood out most was his commitment to making sure we truly feel we are receiving the most value in our apartment. It really makes a difference and shows how much he cares about this community. Thank you Lionsgate and Jason!

We've been living in the Village at Lionsgate apartments for five and a half wonderful years now and we are thrilled with our decision to move here. The complex has a very welcoming atmosphere, making it a wonderful place to return to after a long day at work. Maintenance service is amazing and very knowledgeable, the requests are responded so quickly. All staff are very professional, caring, cheerful and super helpful. Especially, we love the lake, it's absolutely stunning, gorgeous club house and gym, the buildings are very beautiful! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for housing in the Kansas City area! I have been living here for over a year now and I love it. My balcony faces the lake and it's such a peaceful feeling. The front office everyone is very respectful. I have dealt with Nicole from day one going through the process to rent the apartment she was very helpful and still till today I go to her for any questions or concerns and never been disappointed.

I lived in this community for 6 years, and unfortunately my experience declined over time. During those six years, only twice did my rent checks not go through, and both times I resolved the issue the same day or the very next morning. Despite this long history and quick resolution, management decided to stop accepting my checks altogether, which felt unfair given my record. For the past two years, there has been little to no snow removal, even though residents are charged for it. Tenants are left to handle it themselves. Trash removal is frequently unavailable despite residents being charged for it. At the same time, if you leave more than two trash bags, you risk receiving a ticket. It feels inconsistent to charge for services that are not reliably provided while strictly penalizing tena

I lived at Village at Lionsgate in Building 16 from August 2023 to June 2024. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing. During our stay, the upstairs neighbors had children who frequently ran, stomped, and jumped, creating constant noise disturbances. I contacted the main office to ask if there were any recommended solutions for soundproofing or mitigation. The only guidance provided was to speak directly with the upstairs tenant, which I did. However, nothing changed, and no additional support or solutions were offered by management. A more serious issue was the presence of mold. The mold situation was significant enough that it caused breathing issues for my husband, who has asthma. This was extremely concerning and negatively impacted our quality of life in the apartment
