Villa Sorrento Apartments

I lived here for a little over a year. 5 of the outlets did not work. Maintenance was unable to fix them & ended up shocking himself, maintenance was supposed to get an electrician but never did. There are always homeless addicts hanging around, they destroyed the laundry room, only 1 washer & 3 dryers work. You have to stay in there while doing laundry because the homeless people will steal your clothes. There are burnt foils & needles littered all over the place. The pool is never open. I had a issues with bedbugs & after speaking with some of the neighbors all of the buildings there have bedbugs along with roaches. There is an exterminator there every Friday but it does not help. I spent a lot of money getting rid of the bedbugs, I had to throw away most of my furniture because of it. T

These apartments used to be fairly well maintained and cared for. The condition of these apartments are barely above health code standards I would think. They have visible damage to every part of the structures, steps, walls, sidewalks parking lots, inside walls, carrier carpet, dry wall, cracked out missing windows, almost no window screens. The feel off this place is drug infested, gangland hideout. I honestly feel for my safety whenever I visit a few people I know who live here. I would say if you can't afford much and you don't have good references then this place may be a life saver for you. I do not recommend THIS place for anything especially not a place to live or have a family. I reserve one stars for war zone type invironment which this place is one step above. I suggest you emed

Lived here two years. Management changed many times. Place is alot better now, than when we first moved in. Place is now called Apex Apartments. Looks better on the outside now. For the entire two years the pool was unavailable. Did not get a chance to swim at all during the entire two years.... The place is alot safer now, than it was when we first moved in. A few attempted home invasions was prevented due to being armed. Now the crazies are gone. As for my apartment I did NOT see a single bug for the entire two years. No rodents was ever seen. To be honest the place is way over priced for what it is. The laundry room has many washers and dryers that don't work. Most have not worked for at least a year. There is only a basketball court. I’ve lived here for probably about 6 months. My boyfriend has 2 felonies and I myself have an eviction and they are very forgiving in that regard. When we first started looking for a place to live, we called this place numerous time. Maybe one out of every 10 calls was answered. That still stands true to this day. I won’t bore you with the details of the dumpster fire that move in was. We were showed 3 different units that we were supposedly “moving into” before we were finally given the keys to- surprise- a completely different unit. We moved in to a unit we were told was ready for move in. I had to call and have the cleaning lady come back that day because they hadn’t even finished cleaning the unit. I had to file a police report on the office manager for hurrassment I pay my rent every month never miss a payment don't start problem but Patrica is the worst. Coming in after hours and on days off I'm sewing the apartments . because of her harrassment . apartment 3101 . and the apartments they painted them outside but inside half my plugs don't work the shower doesn't go from tub to shower and we have not had AC for 2 years now they say they will fix stuff but they don't I have a 87 year old woman and wheelchair bound women plus a mentally handicapped man living with me . No AC in the summer. We have lived he 6 years .
