We’ve lived at View 34 for over five months and have had a positive experience so far. The amenities are great, and management—especially Lisa—has been responsive whenever issues have come up. Shout-out to Suzy for a smooth leasing process and to Shanice at the leasing desk for her warm presence. The maintenance and door staff do a great job, even with the high volume of residents. Yes, elevator delays and ongoing drilling can be frustrating, but we appreciate the efforts to keep the building clean and running. The shared workspaces and rooftop views are fantastic, and we’d love to see the roof opened for residents on key holidays. The actual building itself is subpar and most other reviews have detailed the issues here. BESIDES that, our apartment unit is great which is what has kept us here for a few years. The most exceptional part about living here is the staff. More specifically, our doormen/concierge - Mimo: Never fails to greet residents BY NAME when they walk in. He’s so sweet and makes us feel safe and protected!!!! It’s always fun to stop and chat with him. - Kevin: Legitimately always greets me with a radiant smile, has the best energy/aura, and makes my mornings when I get to see him on my way to work! Such a bright light. - Ozzy: Always says hi and asks how I’m doing. UPDATE: Someone recently got stuck in the elevator for close to an hour and the FDNY had to come to get the person out. So currently there are ZERO, yes ZERO elevators working for one side of the building. I wonder if this will foster any action from management. I mean the elevator from May is STILL "under construction" FROM MAY, but I won't hold my breath. I write this out of frustration (and made this account for that reason) that maybe (doubtful) management will finally act. There were ZERO elevators working today. 1 has been out of service since June - why it takes 5 months to do maintenance on an elevator is beyond me. I was warmly welcomed from the very beginning when I came to see my apartment, thanks to Suzy Perez. She helped me with absolutely everything —with so much patience, kindness, and attention. Suzy took the time to teach me how to use the app, guided me through every step, sent several emails, and practically held my hand to make sure I understood the whole process. She’s truly a sweetheart. If you’re thinking about renting an apartment here, I highly recommend reaching out to Suzy. You won’t regret it.

My clothes were repeatedly damaged in the washing machines and dryers. I often had to rewash and retry all my clothes multiple times, resulting in damaged items and wasted money. The building shuts off the elevators on hot days to save money and not just that, the elevators NEVER work. In two years I got stuck multiple times and was late for many things due to this. On top of this, we had a leak in our ceiling that the maintainece team tried to not even address at first. Lastly, the apartment prices and how much they raise you rent is absurd and not justified. Save your money and go elsewhere. Oh - and the doormen were consistently rude to delivery drivers and guest. Not professional or “luxury” at all.
