Vermella at Garwood Station

My wife and I have been living here for over 2 years now, so I felt that I was overdue to write a review. Honestly I think overall the Vermella Garwood is great. The staff in general is awesome. Special shout-out to the cleaning staff who work really hard and always keep the public areas looking great. Maintenance has also always been helpful and prompt the few times I've had to call them. The concierge staff have all been friendly and helpful. I personally have never had an issue with a package going missing. The location is fantastic, a great mix of suburban neighborhood with some city-like walkability. You've got 2 of the nicest downtowns in NJ located nearby - Westfield about a mile west, and Cranford about a mile east. Garwood itself has some very nice shops and restaurants also

I’ve had such a great experience living here! The entire building is extremely clean and well maintained — everything from the hallways to the common areas always looks spotless. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, from the leasing team to the front desk. They go out of their way to make residents feel welcome and taken care of. Any time I’ve had a small maintenance request, the response has been quick and efficient, which really gives peace of mind. The amenities are fantastic too — the gym is spacious and well equipped, and the pool area is beautiful and relaxing. Overall, it’s been such a positive place to live — I’d highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a clean, well-managed, and comfortable home.

If I had the chance to put 0 stars, I would! DO NOT MOVE HERE, SAVE YOUR MONEY! Where do I even begin? The management here is the worst of the absolute worst, the property manager doesn't even know what she's doing at this point, she's just here to be here. Everyone in the leasing office doesn't even care about requests we put in as residents bc either they're SLACKING OFF or SLEEPING in their offices. The poor concierges are dealt with everything including TAGGING RESIDENTS CAR?! Like how does a property with over 300 units have ONLY 10 GUEST PARKING SPACES?!? Concierges get blamed for everything bc MANAGEMENT just pushes everything for them to handle just so the people in the LEASING OFFICE and the property managers can save their own skin!! concierges told me they are the ONES WHO HAVE

My husband and I are new residents and we are so happy we chose Vermella at Garwood Station as our new home. The staff has been so helpful, guiding us every step of the way. They are knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. I feel very much at home here. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Staff are all very friendly and willing to help accommodate you to get settled in- Shout out to Ania for helping work through the leasing process and get situated. Maintenance has been very quick to respond to tickets placed for repairs. Lots of nice places to dine in, supermarkets, and train station all within walking distance. The amenities and parking have a monthly fee but not having to worry about finding a spot every time and the fitness center alone are worth it. After speaking with the office about all those fire alarm issues they were very upfront about it and explained that there was an issue with the system and it has been replaced and they have not had any issues since.
