At least give me the option to give a half star, you don’t want to be here, the last 11 months we have had at least 2 months with no heat and no gas (during the winter) no a/c for at least 10 days total (during the summer) and a 2 foot by 2 foot hole in our floor leading to the dirt under the unit, and a more than fist sized hole in our wall to outside (during the summer) for 3 months, all manner of bugs just waltzed right in during that time and it’s no surprise! The holes have since been fixed but 3 months seems rather excessive to me, and for my trouble I was given half off one month of rent. Like others have said Deangelo is doing the best he can as well as the WAY understaffed maintenance team but it seems like bare minimum = high profit margins is the way of zen living. We all signe

I lived here for 14 months and had endless issues. Not one month went by without something else going wrong - No gas, no electricity, no water, rodent infestations, leaks. The management company, Zen Living Management/East Dallas Collection, clearly could not care about their tenants at all and promises of rent concessions were just a promise and never executed. The community is so beautiful yet living there was unbearable. I really hope the new management company can restore it to its original glory as would be sad to lose this iconic property.

worst apartment experience ever. if you only knew how truly bad it is. The amount of issues this complex has is truly unbelievable. There are raccoons living in the walls, that defecate and urinate that will actually come out of old phone jacks, that have fallen into tenants apartments with no maintenance assistance or any sort of help. You will have no AC on a 95 degree day, with the apartment staying around 85. Unlivable and unethical. Half of the time the gates do not work. You can be locked out anytime, or just have them left wide open. Infested with fleas, no lighting in the courtyard, no porch lights, fountains full of scum and black water, you call the apartments, you may get an answer 10% of the time. This place is god-awful. There is not a single month that goes by here without some massive issue that takes days or weeks for maintenance to fix. Earlier this year there we had a 2 month period without gas or hot water. The first week or two of that was without working a/c. This was during the winter. They said they were going to reimburse us months ago but that still hasn't happened In the last 7 months, the chiller has broken at least 6 times and taken days to fix almost every time. This isn't just in my unit. When the a/c breaks, it breaks for every unit in the complex. Currently the a/c has been broken for over 72 hours and we've had to deal with near 100 degree temperatures in the apartment. Hot water and gas have also been unavailable within that time, and there is no estimated t
