Ventura Apartments

My mother has been living in these apartments for well over 10 years, and they have gone extremely downhill since new property management took over. Metric Property Management is the worst in every aspect, and I hope the owners become aware of whom they have hired to manage their property. There are numerous issues throughout the complex, both inside and out: 1. Communication Problems: - No working phone numbers (calls go unanswered, voicemails receive no response) - The leasing office is consistently unstaffed - Emails go unanswered 2. Pest Infestation: - The complex is infested with roaches - Management promises pest control but doesn't follow through - My elderly, retired mother has repeatedly emptied her cabinets for fumigation that never occurs 3. Appliance Issues: - The refrigera

If your son or daughter is renting an apartment do not let them rent at Ventura North apartments in Austin. The response from the management company is below standard. On the day we moved my son in they their was no working fridge and their was no knob on the shower. It took them over a month to fix the shower after the pipes froze there was a hole in the wall of his shower that went into the other apartment. It took two weeks to fix a toliet in his apartment. Do not get me started on the roaches. The apartment manager is impossible to reach. Metric Properties Management should be ashamed of the managers for this property.

10/10 UPDATE: Don’t believe the review they responded with. They don’t care about anybody in this complex. There are still roaches in my apartment, animal in the wall, a/c goes in and out, and they like to scare people even though the payment portal is still down. Gloria supposedly says she’s on the property all the time, but the few times I’ve been home, I never seen anyone. With that being said, save your money and go find something better! Living in this condition is terrible for your mentality and not safe. (First Review) Since living here, I have yet to have pest control come to the apartment after I’ve requested it for the past month. She’s the only good thing about this place so reach out to Jeannette and she will 100% make sure you get taken care of because she actually cares about the people living at Ventura. Save your time with this place. Upon move in I never received a mailbox key, they said it would get to me by Monday of the following week. Flash forward 9months and still no key. Management doesn’t respond to calls, maintenance requests, portal messages or emails. Management is never on site.
