Velo Village Apartments

Hi! I’ve lived at Velo Village for almost 4 years. I love the ambience, amenities, and office staff is always available. The maintenance staff always have fixed my work orders on the same day. It’s quiet and very safe. I really don’t know why there are negative reviews. I don’t think they could do a better job.

constant noise, hallways smell like marijuana, PAPER THIN WALLS, barking dogs, and lazy maintenance. CHEAP construction, cheap washer/dryers, cheap everything. The blinds are so thin that at night when your inside lights are on its like not having any blinds at all. Problems reported to management just go in one ear and out the other they don't bother re painting your walls before your move in so you see all sorts of scuff marks and holes from previous resident. They dont clear drains or the disposal before moving in and you can see from just glancing that the drawers, cabinets and door handles are all fixed on crooked very obvious these are cheap apartments masking as "luxury" apartments and that management cares way more about money and luring in new residents than creating an enjoyabl

Worst apartments if you own dogs, there’s only 1 dog park for all 5 buildings and if your dog is one of the dogs that have to roam free to use the bathroom goodluck in letting them in because there’s always somebody taking their time knowing you’re waiting to let your dog in. From what I heard there’s multiple people requesting to have another dog park build but velo village refuses to build another. Velo apartments cheaply made and overpriced for what they call “luxury”, In the winter they’ll barely clean the snow on the sidewalks. Worst apartments to lease I recommend other apartments if you don’t own pets.

I've been living in a 2-bedroom ADA apartment in Velo Village for about 22 months. The property is well taken care of, I always feel like the property management team cares a lot about the property. As a full-time wheelchair user, its relatively easy to live here. The trash is taken to dumpsters that are underneath the building, so there's no need to go out in the cold or ice/snow in the Winter, which is a huge plus for me. The apartment itself is mostly accessible, and I do very well living here. I wish all of the sidewalks were pavement. Some of them are gravel, which is difficult to use with a wheelchair. This is mostly true for the "park-like" areas where you can go to relax. For example, if you want to walk around by the pond to get some nature views, you will be on gravel rat

I have lived at Velo going on 5 years now and the staff has always been friendly and maintenance has always been prompt. I would recommend living here, I have had no issues.
