I have been a contractor and real estate investor for 10 years now and in that time I have had many appraisals done in three different states. Of these many appraisals, Valtrust was, by far, the worst firm I have had the displeasure of working with in the industry. They were slow, uncommunicative, and the final work product was of exceptionally poor quality. If I had hired Valtrust directly, I would have done a charge back or filed a small claims action against them. Sadly, my mortgage company was an intermediary so there is nothing I can do besides leaving this review.

I retained Valbridge Property Advisors to perform an appraisal on a property that I wanted to sell in Orange County, Florida. They quoted a reasonable price for the service, and provided a very professional and detailed appraisal, supported with appropriate comparable recent sales within the time schedule we agreed on. The appraisal provided me with a defensible basis for pricing the property for sale, and I was offered the full appraisal price within a week of my intent to sell.
