I have enjoyed my time living here. The resident event tonight was pretty cool! It was nice to get to speak with other happy tenants and get to know Jorge, the property manager. Excited for the next resident event!

WARNING: Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews!!! Since Greystar took over management, conditions have declined dramatically, and they’re now taking full advantage of the 10% rent increase cap. We’ve lived here for 5 years and have seen the steady decline. Management started charging for parking (which, based on our lease from 2020–2024, was supposed to be included). Last renewal it jumped to $45/month, and now they’ve raised it to $95 after telling us it wouldn't jump again. Security is a major issue. Lockers are broken into regularly. Homeless frequently enter the building because the gate is always broken or they break into the side doors. They sleep in the pool area or peoples cars, break doors, and attempt to enter units. This community is so great, we are so glad we visited when searching where to live in this area of San Diego. We are so happy to call this our home. From the moment I called to ask about this property to the tour and moving day Marlene and Amanda have been so helpful and professional. Moving day went smoothly (it was a rainy week) thanks to their help and good communication. The loading area for movers is a designated parking spot and not far from elevators. We love the location, and the layout of our apartment is perfect for our family. The community is maintained very well and is so beautiful. All the amenities are great and thought out well. The fact that you can see the harbor water area from most of them is such a plus in my opinion. Sunset views! Most importantly it is a nice quiet

I’m writing this to give an honest review of Valentina for anyone considering moving in. When we first moved in, we absolutely loved it. The building felt safe, it’s in a great location in Little Italy, and being so close to restaurants and coffee shops was a huge plus. We also met some of our closest friends in the building, which made it feel like home. Unfortunately, things changed quickly — and not for the better. There were multiple break-ins (still happening weekly), constant package theft/storage units broken into, and repeated issues with non-residents accessing the property. Safety became a serious concern. What was once a secure and welcoming environment started to feel chaotic and poorly managed. What was most frustrating was the lack of response from management.
