Valdez and Associates

To date, I’ve had a positive experience renting from this management company. Sammy has always been very helpful and professional, and they have always fixed any issues that arise.

Valdez was a decent landlord. They kept appliances running and mostly didn't bother us. They are not tremendously service oriented, though. They told me a that a hole in the wall that bees used to enter the apartment was "a tenant responsibility" and withheld $97 from the security deposit to clean "ceiling fans and oven hood." (I do not think by law the deposit covers these things, but don't want to fight over it).

Well, first of all... the only positive reviews for this company and people mistaking them for a restaurant second of all the only other positive reviews are them creating profiles and leaving themselves 5 star reviews. I highly recommend trying to rent from another property management company as Valdez & Associates is a nightmare. They are dishonest and flaky. The repairs in the homes are terrible make shift and ghetto. TAKE A REALLY DETAILED VIDEO UPON moving in - because they will return maybe 100.00 if you lucky! They make up all the "repairs" and cleaning needed - when these homes are BARELY maintained and the repairs they do are ... well ... as I said before ghetto. Even if you leave the home in better condition than move in, they will do and say whatever it takes to make up why yo

We rented a storage unit from them (Poco Storage) back in October of 2024, within a few weeks I got a call from them that my storage unit was broken into (1st time for that to happen in my 15 years living in Santa Fe) a real bummer. I lost a $500 subwoofer car speaker as well as a shovel. Be wary of renting a Storage unit here they are not very well secured. Never again......

The best property management company in town. They are always ready to help you, they care about their tenants and their issues. No problem that is a problem to you is left unattended or unanswered. I’ve been renting from them for over 3 years and I am more that pleased. They addresses every issue I had, like leaking roof, mice, water heater and etc in a super fast and professional manner. The sweetest thing was when I got a message during the corona pandemic from the office just checking in on me and offered to lower my rent half. I didn’t even ask for it. Love how personal this is. They truly care about their tenants. Strongly recommend doing business with them! -Simona
