Vacasa

Vacasa Montana is extremely frustrating to work with. I spent an hour on the phone bouncing back and forth between Vacasa and AirBnB trying to add a night to our vacation and it was 100% due to Vacasa, not AirBnB. They then tried to charge me a full trip cleaning fee for adding the night. When you message the host you are talking to an automated bot, not a human. Horrible experience that made AirBnb look bad. Do not book rentals with Vacasa Montana listed as the host.

We will never use Vacasa again. They listed cabin that has 4 bed rooms and 2 baths, sleeps 8. Perfect match for our trips with 6 adults and 2 kids under 3 years old. Except! In the FINE PRINT, they said that parties of greater than 4 are not allowed due to something about small septic system then refused to refund us and changed us a cancellation fee. They made us pay for their error. The listing has since been switch to not show up as a 4 bed rooms and sleeps 8. Garbage customer service.

Staying at a Vacasa rental in Big Sky and I wish I had read the prior reviews of this company before we rented from Vacasa! We arrived and there was no hot water at all. Called the 1-800 number and after waiting for 20 minutes or so an overseas customer service person said he would call and get someone to take care of it. Needless to say, no one came and after texting and calling for 24 hours, finally someone came out and fixed it. There was absolutely no communication. We stopped by the address listed for Vacasa to see if we could talk to someone in person but the address appears to just be a warehouse for towels and such. No one was inside. It took 4 days to get clean towels the room was a little dirty when we checked in and only had 7 towels total for a 6 day vacation in a condo that fits 6 people. There was no washer and dryer available and no trash pickups.

Stayed at a place being ran by Vacasa. It was awful, there was no customer service, our 4wd got stuck in driveway because they didn’t plow/mitigate snow. Horrendous.
