With respect, the issue here is not simply about whether the prior owner changed the locks—it’s about how management responded when I was locked out. What concerns me most is that instead of acknowledging the failure to resolve the issue, management is now placing the blame entirely on the prior owner and on me as the new resident. Pointing fingers does not change the fact that: 1. I was locked out for hours due to lack of preparation and communication, 2. I received no actual assistance beyond being told there was no key, and 3. I was billed for a service call that did not solve the problem. Extremely disappointing experience with this management team. I was locked out of my unit for hours because they did not have a working key on file. Their technician arrived with the “key” only for us to discover it didn’t open the door—because they never had a copy to begin with. Instead of confirming this beforehand, I wasted 2 hours waiting for their technician, then another hour waiting for a locksmith I had to find and pay for out of pocket. The worst part? They still tried to bill me for a full service call, even though they didn’t fix the problem and left me locked out until I solved it myself. This shows a serious lack of preparation, poor communication, and zero accountability. If you value your time and money, look for a management company that takes basic responsibilities serio

Reactive rather than proactive. All these bad reviews can't be wrong. I've only begun to work with them for a short period of time after having acquired a commercial space in one of their buildings in Boston. However, there have been many necessary coordination due to renovations and relocation. The agent assigned to my account has not been responsive, often not replying to questions and forgetting about important conversations, claiming I never told her certain things. Some of these mishaps lead to confusion with the people in my building. My overall impression having interacted with them is that they are more reactive to issues rather than proactive to avoid issues. They also seem to shift blame when things go astray. Urban is the new management company running the building where I own a condo. I recently had an administrative issue and the property manager and her team did a great job to get problem resolved. A+
