Uptown West Apartment

I regret moving here. There is mold in the common areas, and the carpet seems to have absorbed old water leakage and trash residue. The laundry costs $2 per load on an early 90s machine that doesn’t seem to do its job properly. They use a common household vacuum that reintroduces all the dirt back into the air, so if you have asthma you may experience an episode. Because the building is old, expect lead in your water. You’ll also have to live with inconsiderate neighbors and hear everything through the thin walls. The smell of weed is constant, and rent keeps going up like it’s some sort of luxurious accommodation. The leasing office sells it as a world wonder.

I hope I had a zero-star option, every little thing in this cheap grade apartment is an issue. An average-rated accommodation in a third-world country village is far better than in this place. a)When I moved into this place ,each and everything ,the bathtub, the toilet were clogged,I reported this to the management, they repaired it they charged me extra money on my rent again for their irresponsibility b)The room was full of hair ,even the refrigirator I had to clean it myself,the apartment was not cleaned before giving to me. c)The room had a very weird smell when I came into it,I had to use alot of room sprays daily for that to neutralise d)The washers and dryers in the apartment are qualityless,I have to use the dryer 3 times each time for my clothes to dry.Never someone came and r

There is a homeless shelter nearby, into which some sneak at night and into the big trash bin at the back. The walls are so thin that people walking upstairs wake me up all the time, making it difficult to sleep. I'm glad I'm out of here.

Everything considered, it’s a great place
