Upstairs Van Aken Apartments has been a wonderful experience with a responsive and attentive management team, a welcoming community, and located near shops, dining, transit - a truly five-star community.

We love living here! I've lived in many apartment buildings and I've never felt so welcome and satisfied than at Upstairs. The staff are pleasant and the community manager, Katelyn, is always super friendly, eager to help and on top of things. They frequently have little surprise gifts as "thank-you" for the residents which really can make your day! The proximity to the broader van aken district and climbing gym also makes the location hard to beat. The market hall is basically your front yard which was super convenient for getting a quick snack or meeting up with friends.

We have arrived in July 2021 to Cleveland and were looking for a nice home. We found Upstairs and we felt in love with this place, the apartments and the area are incredible. Our exposure towards the sun is perfect! It has a community room with… almost all services (a coffee machine is missing!) and I used to work from there. We met Katelyn, the onsite manager and she is amazing, not only very reactive but also, she is in the anticipation of things… she has an incredible contact/feeling with my kids, and they love her!

This is a followup to the August 13th review I posted three months ago. It is now October 10th. In early October, we moved to a new home, as we decided to purchase vs renting. Reginald was so accommodating in ensuring that our moving requirements, date and time, all related specific move out information was well anticipated. And, implemented. My point being that even at the end of our four plus year very positive experience at Upstairs Van Aken, Reginald was as caring and on top of things as he and his other team members have been from the onset.
