PLEASE READ BEFORE RENTING! Only giving 1 star because 0 isn’t an option. I see they respond to most reviews so I’m sure there will be some type of lie after this, but this is 110% true and would be happy to prove all info to anyone. We moved in November 2024. The first 6 months were great, no issues what so ever. However, around May there was a water leak along the roofline, which had to be fixed. However the mold the leak created was not fixed. It was ignored, and we were basically told our lease would not be extended (even though we had been told 3 times that it shouldn't be an issue to extend). I would NOT recommend applying with this company. They take your application fee & then discriminate using your "required bank statement". I suggest redacting your charges if you send them a bank statement. It's nobody's business where you spend your money once all your bills are paid. Saying you don't smoke (when you don't smoke cigarettes) isn't lying. Buying a vape isn't the same thing. What person in their 20's doesn't get low on funds close to pay day? Esp someone who moves their money into other accounts for auto pay and SAVINGS. He has a great credit score, never late on car payment or rent. So originally I had not left context to this review due to preserving the privacy of myself and Upscale Properties. But the owner decided to reply and completely disregard our privacy. Firstly, as I provided no context to the review originally, it was very unprofessional to mention Justin by first and last name and the address of the former property we rented. Justin had nothing to do with this review and we are no longer associated. Why you would chose to publicly shame us on the internet in front of your potential future tenants I do not know. My experience with this business was generally positive, most maintenance orders were completed next day or that week. This summer our AC completely went out in the middle of 90 degree weather. A technician came out in the first couple of days and informed us that the units would need to be replaced and that they would communicate with the property managers. Two weeks went by when I called for an update at which time they said the owner has decided to pursue other quotes and they could not give me an estimated time for when the AC would be fixed. With no other choice I called Lexington Code enforcement who came out and gave them two weeks to rectify the issue. I’m giving 3 stars, just because our neighbors were awesome. Everyone on Dove Run, especially the townhouses, were good/fun neighbors. The office was usually quick to respond to maintenance requests, so no issues there. However, this is where the bad outweighs the good & this is my personal experience, it won’t be the same for everyone & the owners are usually quick to come to their own defense on these reviews. So again, this is MY experience while living here. A week or 2 after we moved in, we noticed that our townhouse was infested with mice. There was droppings everywhere. I contacted the office, to which they told me that it was out of their control & to set up mouse traps/glue traps, etc. Keep in mind, they do not spray or check for rodents, insects, nothing in the sorts.
