…………………Updated on Feb. 2026…………………… The buses are already running as early as 5:00 AM, even though the posted schedule indicates that the first service does not begin until 7:00 AM. It is difficult to understand why they need to be started so early and left idling there, creating unnecessary noise. More importantly, it is unclear why noisy buses must be stationed in an area where many residents need quiet rest, especially during early morning hours. If relocating the bus parking area is not feasible, then meaningful mitigation measures should be considered, such as installing proper soundproof windows or additional noise barriers for the nearby residences affected. We have already raised these concerns by email some time ago, yet there has been no effective improvement, and I am still bein
Highly recommend UV to students and young professionals seeking a peaceful community. Management and Maintenance truly do care about the residents here. Maintenance requests are answered promptly and the Office staff is super friendly! If things happen in the community, we get email alerts making us all aware. Very safe community.
It has been almost a year of me and my partner living in our apartment. We chose UV mostly due to the convenience of the shuttle bus that takes you directly onto campus. I am shocked to see so many negative reviews and I truly do believe that we got lucky with our apartment. These buildings are pretty old and if maintenance is not doing an adequate job than I do see how things can go terribly wrong. We’ve been fortunate that we have not experienced any cockroaches, leaks or poor management. I do want to highlight how we’ve made our apartment our own and that if anyone is as fortunate as us to not have too many issues, these apartments can be truly beautiful. I hate that there aren’t more pictures of how people have decorated their apartments because I think it would have been great to see
After 20 years renting in many countries including the US, this is the worst experience ever. Dont rush and rent there. Nearby residentials are available with less rent, and will save you the hassles (described below). Staff of the leasing office are not honest enough; all about pulling your leg to win promised bonuses and their management is usless in everthing (will tell you frankly we need your money). Don't think you will live in a place like the model apartment they will show you. The actual condition of the apartment is miserable; very old in everything and not maintained inside at all (apartment door with unworking locks, disgusting bathroom, torn carpets, windows with broken screens and blinds, noisy ACs not even providing cool condition, less than half-life heaters, kitchen full o
This is my 5th year at UV. Below are several reasons that keep me continue staying here: First, it’s great leasing staff like Savanna, Brent (not working currently), Daniel, and many others. They are so polite, supportive, and responsive. Second, the place is just a mile from the OSU and has free shuttle that takes residents back and forth to campus. So, I don’t need to buy campus parking permit that is really expensive. Third and most importantly, the maintenance office is so responsive. They are professional and polite. You can submit a maintenance request to them very easily online or just by stopping by their door, or a quick telephone call. Surprisingly, they recently launched a text message services that you can just text them and let them know of the maintenance issue, and they take
