University Rental Info

I've been renting with this company since 2014 and I absolutely love my two apartments I've rented from them, anytime there is a issue or repair need to be done its done in a timely manner also Cheryl is a very nice lady who has helped me a lot! I've not had any issues with this company the 4 years I've rented from them. The apartments are nice and well maintain. Everyone I've interacted with has been nice and professional!

We were flat out told by the rental agency that if we didn't like their slow, cheap-over-quality approach to renting that we could just leave. They do not care about their renters/customers. If I could rate negative stars I honestly would. Agency employees are inconsiderate, worryingly slow to respond to maintenance requests, and do not maintain existing properties well. In fact, plumbers and electricians who come to service our units remark on the fact that these are some of the worst housing units they've ever had to work on, and that they have been this way for years.

Before you get any further I want to clarify that I never leave harsh criticism without justification and attempts to resolve the issues. The inspiration for this review comes from our recent $125 overage charge even though the a/c was broken and off for 5 days, and 2/5 residents were rarely home due to heavy school work. My roommates and I reside at the Jacinto property as the location and unfurnished price best suited our needs. Short Version: House 8/10 (adequate space, maintained, decent fixtures) Neighborhood 2/10 (Homeless, Police helicopter constantly searching, constantly partying neighbors to the north) Average of $80-100 in overages every month even though the house is 78-80 d

Parents Beware. The contract for this company provides parents two options - 1) agree to be a co-signer for the contract and waive your ARS rights or 2) pay a security deposit (approximately 2 months rent). What this company does not tell you is if your child is the only one in the house who opts for the security deposit, and damage repair costs are assessed upon contract completion, -- the entire damage charge (even in common areas) comes out of your deposit vs equally assessing this bill to all tenants. This company then expects the tenant who paid the security deposit to obtain reimbursement from the other tenants. This company did not even sent the bill for damages to the other tenants. Further, if damage is assessed -- no proof is provided by this company -- no pictures or reports fro

University rentals is a great company to rent through. We have had a great experience living here! They are very helpful and accomadating, I highly recommend using this company!
