Tyson has been great to rent from for the last 3 plus years. Always take care of every issue we have, as soon as possible. Very fair and easy to work with, in my humble opinion. Thank you to everyone at the office and in the field that make families like ours, have safe, comfortable housing to raise our families in!!

I lived in a home with my family managed by Tyson. They were unfair to us. We are respectful of others’ property, neat, and clean. My family and I took great care of the home the entire 5 years we lived there. We always paid early our monthly rent. Interactions with Tyson over the years though often were unpleasant. Some of the people treated us disrespectfully, despite our always presenting ourselves courteously and professionally. [On the other hand, there was a person or two in the Tyson office with a lovely personality at any given time]. It generally seemed as if Tyson looked down on their renters. [That mindset likely comes from the top and trickles down to the people who work there]. It seemed as if their homeowners were their only priority, not the renters. In May 2020, I rec

I have experienced multiple issues while living in a home managed by Tyson Property Management. Some problems have been resolved, but others have lingered for months with little communication or urgency. I am usually a patient person, but this most recent situation has pushed me to speak up. Two years ago, during the summer, my swamp cooler stopped working over a weekend when the temperature was around 100 degrees. I had to rent a hotel room for two days so my children and I could stay safe and comfortable. As a single mother of four, I let that go because I was doing my best to manage everything on my own. The home I live in is older, and I understand that older houses come with maintenance needs. However, understanding that does not excuse poor treatment from staff. The maintenance emp

MULTIPLE WORK ORDERS for the same HVAC issue WITHIN WEEKS. Temporary fix. “Permanent” repair. Another failure six days later. Over $1,000 spent in two weeks — and the heater still not fixed. Now, yet another work order for the same issue. As an owner, this pattern of repeated maintenance charges without a real solution is unacceptable. Transparency and accountability are seriously lacking. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

I called Tyson properties and spoke with Mare Purcella, letting her know I was interested in the home on Wood Duck rd, I viewed the home and noticed it needs some TLC, some doors were broken, floors were lifted and countertops were peeled, so I asked if they’d be willing to negotiate the price, she explained they couldn’t and I was understanding of that. I then go in to ask if I’d be able to fix the things the home needed she said “upon approval from the owner”, so I asked if they could get confirmation before placing an application because why would I pay application fees if I wouldn’t be able to fix what needed to be fixed? She then goes on to tell me; “this doesn’t seem like a property for you” why because I was asking questions? Because I wanted information before paying fees and poten
