The exterior of this apartment complex looks enticing with its many trees, large private patios, and year-round pool, but beware. Several red flags were raised to me when touring and considering this complex. First off, the front office staff- the front office staff is very unresponsive, never returning calls or voice messages, and when you do get ahold of her she speaks to you in a very unprofessional manner. You have to go in person multiple times to get anything done and the office hours are very irregular and different than what is posted online and on the physical door of the leasing office. Secondly, I was only allowed to tour a spruced up, fancily furnished, never-lived-in, model home apartment, which wasn’t even the floorplan I was interested in. I was told I would NOT be allowed

Lived here for 3 plus years between 2010 - 2013. What attracted me was the greenery all round, the peaceful and quiet neighborhood and decently sized apartments at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, there are a few issues as well - Firstly, as others have mentioned you need to go their central Richmond office to pay rent / drop your check. You could post it as well but you are responsible if it did not reach them in time. So a 10 mile round trip every month it was. Second, the front office. There was a gentleman named Eric when I moved in. He was great, friendly and very helpful. But then he left and the lady who came in wasn’t exactly similar natured. Third, the amenities. The gym was really postage stamp sized. If these three things did not matter to you, this was good. Plenty of par

My washer was broker for 9 months. Maintenance guys came 6-8 times and said something was wrong they have to order some part and it should be fixed in a week. 9 months went by and nothing. I kept going to the leasing office every 2 weeks and the property manager Karen just said every time “I will send someone, we will get it fixed.” But nothing. I won’t recommend leasing here. Thank god I moved out of that place.

I lived in these apartments for 2 years, moved out early 2023. And I personally had no major issues with the complex or management. Karen (property manager) is very responsive via email for any concerns and maintenance responds within an appropriate time frame. I lived in a unit that was on the back side and loved it, so quiet. The critiques I have is that Tucker HS is backed up to the complex (traffic can be crazy), lighting at night is dull and I always hated the ducks/geese near the pond. But overall, not a bad apartment complex to live in!

Make sure you clarify with management about the final move-out checklist. I went through the entire checklist before vacating the premises, cleaned the carpet, replaced the stove pans, spackled all holes. I gave 60 day notice then received a call a month later stating I had to find someone to sublet the apartment until September 2016 when my lease was up in July 2016. Lived there for 2 years, the pool was never cleaned out or shocked with chemicals, and they had a guy clean the pool with a discounted rent, when I moved out in July 2016, they were finally redoing the pool, and the management team was always changing. Found out through a neighbor that my apartment was rented out in August 2016 after I moved out. I was charged 2K because of 'vacating early' and 'repairs not done'. Lesson
