Tropicana Village Apartments

I already left a review a while ago but wanted to provide an update since I can’t edit the original. A few days ago, I came home to find my ceiling dripping water. I immediately called emergency maintenance, and a worker who spoke no English told me he’d come first thing in the morning to fix it. It’s now 1 PM two days later, and no one has shown up. I’ve called the office over 12 times with no answer, and when I went in person, the door was locked with a sign saying they’d be back at 1:30 — I was there at 1:41. This is especially concerning because my son is allergic to mold, and this makes the unit unsafe to live in. This is just the latest in a series of serious maintenance issues I’ve had since moving here, including water leaks, electrical hazards, and pest problems. At this point,

I like the office staff. They are helpful. This place has apartments for rent. The rent isn’t horrible Everything is nearby. The stadium for the As will be down the street soon. Vons next door. Dog friendly

One of the residents almost hit me with his car he lives at building 19 , drives silver prius . The man was clearly messed up and clues that he almost hit me with his car .

Unless you want to be constantly battling with bugs, unable to access your mail, unable to use the advertised facilities because of lack of upkeep, possibly living with mold, or maybe even BURNED in an electrical fire.. move ANYWHERE else! I’ve been too overrun with personal obligations lately to deal with this situation properly.. but I’m reaching my wit’s end. & You know it’s bad when the corporate office offers to let you break your lease or move to an “upgraded” unit after you contact code enforcement. A few months back I took the upgraded unit, like a fool, and it has been COMPLETELY downhill since. Like HOW is this unit possibly worse than the last one? This place is a joke. Everything is rundown black mold is everywhere in the apartments the management is the worst you can imagine. They continuously go through management so nothing is ever done correctly. Vacated this place because it's an absolute disgusting bed bug infested nasty place to live
