Trend at 51

To sum it up, lots of positives and occasional negatives; Positive: The rooftop is the main sell, amazing views, pool, and clubhouse. The gym is mid but no problems just lack of equipment. They do have parties occasionally but I wouldn't call them event focused as a lot of them are virtual. The apartments aren't perfect but for the price, it's a good value. Also, comes with an internet/cable bundle for a good price. Maintenance was honestly always great. Parking fees are affordable too. Great people, everybody is super nice. Negatives: One preface is that all of these negatives aren't the worst and it's an affordable place that is much better than a lot of other valley apartments. Not worth the money at all!!! Our A/C has broken down almost 7 times in three months. It is currently broken down and we called the emergency line five times and it has yet to be fixed. The buildings smell disgustingly like mildew, mold, marijuana, animal feces, etc! Also one of the employees (older gentleman) was up on the rooftop clipping his toenails about two months ago. The gym is very old and the machines are outdated. IMO, this was definitely not the right move.

My wife and I have lived at Trend 51 for nearly 5 years. After spending my adult years living in apartment complexes, I can say with certainty Trend 51 ranks #1. Staff such as, Sheena Howard and Josh are the backbone of this apartment complex and are the biggest reason why we continue to stay. Sheena goes above and beyond our expectations and I have yet to ever see her without a smile on her face. Thank you Josh and Sheena for everything you do.

The apartments are not as nice as advertised. I have lived here for two years and just moved out in May. There is constant maintenance issues in the units alone. I had my AC go out about 7 times. A few of those times were in the dead of summer and all that was provided was portable unit that did not cool or work properly. There is a huge problem with homeless in the area and car break ins. I had my truck damaged on one occasion and my girlfriend’s car was broken into and things were stolen from the vehicle on a separate occasion. There were homeless sleeping in the stairwells many times. There is never any security around the property as they advertise. Many people have access to Rooftop pool and on a few occasions there were massive parties with close to 100 people going in and out of t

Before renting an apartment here, make sure you are aware of how incredibly thin the walls are here. And if you are unlucky with neighbors be prepared you won't be able to rest in your apartment due to horible noises, even at night. There are no amenities or other features that can compensate it. I actually do not recommend. Reported noises during the night multiple times, nothing changed and no steps were taken by management of property even though there is clearly policy -silence 10 PM to 8 AM.
