They’re quick to inspect your apartment, but slow to fix anything that actually matters. The gates still don’t work, the gym equipment is mostly broken (only one treadmill works and the weights are rusted), and the compactor stays broken. Even with an extra dumpster added, trash overflows almost every day. It’s frustrating to pay rent and see basic maintenance and upkeep consistently neglected. Residents deserve better. This will get reported to the city.

This is by far the worst management I’ve dealt with at Tramore. Ever since Preferred Apartment Communities took over, everything has gone from bad to worse. You can’t reach anyone in the actual office anymore. Calls go to some call center and no one ever calls back. The office is often locked during normal business hours. They avoid residents but are suddenly available if someone is trying to rent. Maintenance is dead slow. Simple stuff takes weeks or months. Maintenance come in your apartment with little or no notice. Gates been broken a year, breezeways dirty, stairs unstable. They’ll say it’s a “reminder” notice when no first notice was ever sent. Just moved here (horrible experience so far) my car got stolen a few nights ago because they never close the gates… came home to furniture also being outside today which is very ghetto. And nobody has responded to my maintenance request. And the leasing office people have not responded to me regarding anything !

Is it petty that I’m not renting from this place and writing this review simply because the office staff was rude to me? I called ahead and spoke to someone not in office. She was really sweet and told me I could drop in any time that day. I canceled my plans for the day and went over. Once I got there though, the lady in the (empty) office practically shooed me out the door. She said they are appointment only and she was booked through the next few days. She originally told me no units were available (again while trying to get me out the office) but then when i showed her the listing on Zillow with a unit coming up available she said “oh yeah, it won’t be available for another week”. We had 3 inspections in 1 month, where they only let us know 1 to 2 days before. The last one I didn’t even know was happening until I watched my cameras when I came home from work and saw multiple people in my apartment touching my belongings that were not related to the inspection. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and moving out as soon as my lease is up. I already had to deal with being worried about my safety due to the gates being broken for a year and car break-ins. Living here is honestly a nightmare at this point.
