Trailside Apartments

I wanted to update my experience here at Trailside. Things have taken a major turn for the better with the new management. I recently went into the office to clear up a ledger issue, and the staff was incredibly professional and gracious. It is a breath of fresh air to work with people who are helpful and actually say thank you when you bring things to their attention. I also want to give a huge shout-out to the maintenance team. They are hardworking and have been very responsive lately. It makes a huge difference knowing that the team here—from the front office to the service techs—is actually looking out for the residents and moving things in the right direction. I am glad to start the rest of the year on such a positive note. The new team here is definitely getting it right!

Initially, a leasing agent showed us a floor plan listed as 762 square feet and informed us that apartment #1508 was available with that same layout. I was advised that if I applied that day, the apartment would be held for us until my current lease ended. Based on this information, I proceeded with the application in good faith. On Monday, December 15th, after signing the lease and receiving my keys, I went to view the apartment and discovered that I had been assigned the smallest available floor plan, located on the second floor, and without a washer and dryer. All features that we had clearly stated we did not want. The absolute worst apartments I have c ever lived in. I don’t even know where to start, I have over 40 videos, and pictures from the first two days i moved in of patchy walls, black mold, broken blinds, messed up door frames, water leaking from the ac, and flooding in our restrooms day in and day out. I was told they would all be worked on and fixed, yet so far they’ve fixed nothing, even with consistent complaints and work orders. When I first moved in I was told to wait two weeks for a different apt, when I had already signed for one, and was promised that the apartment would be finished and ready to live in. Although I set up an appointment for a showing and arrived on time, I was rudely told by the clerk that me, my daughter, and baby grandson, whom we had to wake up for this appointment, had to wait outside because she was going to take other people, who may or may not had an appointment too, I never heard her ask them. I said again, that we clearly had an appointment set up, but all she said was, "I'm by myself, you have to wait outside" . If they act that way to prospective renters, I wonder how they treat you once they have you signed up already!!! No thanks

DO. NOT. MOVE. HERE. I. BEG. YOU. UPDATE: January 5, 2026 HEY, guess what we don't have again? Yep that's right, no internet… Do you want to be forced onto and pay for a bulk lease Internet plan? Only for the managers and execs not to pay the Internet bill so said Internet gets shut off and you're without Internet for a week plus? And then also be told we are still required to pay for the Internet we don't currently have? Oh and I still don't have ANY cabinets. Please look elsewhere people, this place is hot doodoo water.
