Tradition on Rio

Honestly a great apartment complex especially if you are looking to live lose to campus. The walk is not to far and Food on MLK is less than a 5 minute walk away which is amazing. Amenities are good and love that they are renovating it for the upcoming semester. Staff is really nice, and special shoutout to Jennifer who gave an amazing tour or the place. If you have any questions she is definitely the person to go to. It’s a great apartment especially for those who are currently looking.

I’ve been living here at Tradition since August and have loved every part of it! The office staff is always very welcoming and makes sure to ask how my day is. Maintenance completes my requests within a few hours and is also very nice! My room is HUGE and has floor to ceiling windows that actually open which is rare in West Campus. They’re doing renovations right now and it’s already starting to look beautiful. I already renewed for next year and have a bunch of friends coming to join :)

I toured here with my roommates when looking for housing last year, and unlike other apartments in west campus, the staff was super nice and down to earth. Mithra was especially helpful and actually seemed like she wanted to help us find the right floor plan for our needs.

The worst experience I’ve had living in this apartment complex! The first night itself, I was unable to get into my apartment due to a faulty key they had provided, and the lock was damaged as well. I did try calling the emergency after-hours, several times, and no one responded. The next day, when I inquired about it, they were very rude, and kept saying that they did not get any call, despite me showing them the number of times I called as well. I understand that being in the topmost floor, my apartment is more prone to insects. However, there are a lot of crickets that somehow finds it way inside the apartment, and once again the apartment management is of no help when it comes to pest control. Living at Tradition is so nice! It’s such a close walk to campus for a cheaper price compared to other apartments in west campus. People who work here are also very kind, Jesse the maintenance guy is the best. If there’s any issue, he’s always there the next day to fix it.
