Towne Oaks 1 Apartments

My partner and I had a lovely experience with Towne Oaks management for the past 2 years of living in this community. Firstly, we've had a friend describe it as a pocket dimension and I'd have to agree. Despite being surrounded by concrete jungle, the complex has a cozy atmosphere protected by lots of trees and enjoyed also by a lil community of cats. Safe enough for families and their kids to take a stroll, play, or go to the pool, with lots of small hidden pathways. Sidewalks are small, but the effort to create walkable pathways almost anywhere you could possibly walk was very appreciated (stepping stones, pavement, etc.) Front office and neighbors decorate for the holidays, hold food drives, costume contests, and occasionally provide free breakfast and treats. Towne Oaks I is such a great place to live. Angela and her team are amazing. The community is so cozy and quiet. Don’t let the surrounding deter you, the apartments are quiet and feel like a little oasis.

It's deplorable what's happening in this property. People are coming in to do drugs, like smoking marijuana. My neighbors are untouchable. I've already filed a report with the office, but they keep smoking inside the apartment. My son was diagnosed with autism, and we have to live with that horrible smell. I've lived here for eight years. I'm thinking of looking for a place where my son will feel a little better, and I'm very disappointed.

This is one of the better apartments in the Austin area. Their affordable, clean, old, helpful, and kind. I have lived there for about 2 years. It is a gated community there is no washer dryer hook up in the apartments. However, they do have coin operated washer and dryers around the complex. I enjoy living at this apartment because it's setup more like a neighborhood. There is no fenced in dog park arrange, but plenty of green space to walk your dog. My dog is a none aggressive breed and weighs about 70lbs. Neighbors here can put up Christmas decorations and treat it like a neighborhood. Towne Oaks 1 is a HIDDEN GEM in the heart of Austin! My husband, dog & I lived here for almost 4 years. It was very affordable for a two bedroom apartment. The property is kept clean, 3 pools, lots of trees that provide shade, plenty of parking and my favorite - a dog park. Service requests never took longer than 24 hours, Angela in the front office was always so helpful and all the employees were very attentive.
