Do not let this place fool you, it is not a gated “luxury” building like they claim to be. Half the time the gate is left wide open allowing all homeless people to come in. I actually saw a review of a recent break in that can still be seen on Yelp. My husband & I unfortunately gave this place the benefit of the doubt & after a year we are THANKFULLY out! Read every line of their ridiculous 80 page process & any hidden fees. You don’t just pay rent here, you pay all these ridiculous fees on top of it making your rent be up to 1,600 plus. Before moving in, inspect your unit wisely! Even taking photos prior to move in, we are faced with having to pay for carpet replacement (we never wore shoes in the house because of our baby).. & vinyl damages that were already left from the previous tenan

I would like to say that my experience here so far has been a good one. From the application process to moving in. My work orders get done quickly. The team here truly cares about their tenants. Highly recommend -LJames_

All the leasing ladies in the office were so nice, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They answered all my questions and made the whole experience easy and comfortable. The community itself is beautiful very clean, well maintained, and you can really tell they care about their residents. I’m definitely looking forward to living here 😊

My renewal process has been absolutely horrible. All these added fees, Dodging dog poo just to get out out of my front door, Close to $100 increase for no new updates is absolutely insane talking about fair housing. This is not a luxury unit so why am I being charged it luxury prices. What’s crazy is My current unit type is listed for $1599 but you want me to sign at $1841 for the same unit posted for rent at $ 1599🤔 Regardless to early bird specials or rent specials, that’s not fair housing

EDIT 8/25/25: OKAY! So! Everything below still stands unfortunately, after a month making my original review. I had to seek out communication once again else I would have been told nothing on my SmartHouse services. I was denied any sort of credit despite paying $140 for a service I couldn't use. The reason being? I could manually use the devices (2 light switches, door lock, and AC). Though, I suppose the water leak sensors aren't being counted i guess, because I sure couldn't use that service? I literally don't see a reason why I need to pay $35 a month in this case. I feel incredibly frustrated. Dont choose Torreyana Apartments, but if you do, demand to know if your unit is in clean and fully working condition before they steal your money.
