I mean just read the reviews... The building constantly smells bad, and management either ignores maintenance issues or fails to keep residents informed about any progress. Akshay makes no effort to conceal his indifference to tenant concerns. They need to hire a new management team because the current one has produced HORRIBLE feedback from previous and current tenants. We've had continuous hot water and heating issues during winter... It’s clear they have no concern for the well-being of their tenants. They showed little care when I reported that the super admitted to smoking in the building while working.

The worst. Extremely careless. Especially Akshay -- he's only remotely "professional" when he's reaching out about money or collecting it. Just read the reviews on Reddit from actual tenants. The building is constantly dirty. The super smokes cigarettes while doing the most basic, surface-level cleaning, and management allows it because it saves them money instead of hiring an actual cleaner like every other building. The place smells right after it's "cleaned," and the laundry machines have mold inside.

So far, they’ve been fine. I’ve had experience with about 6 management companies during my time in New York. I’m relatively hands off when it comes to relying on supers. However, he was here and available on a SUNDAY to let me into my locked apartment. Should they just increase our rent by$25 instead of telling us it’s for water? 100%. Is the building the nicest place you’ve ever set foot in? Far from it. Should you take your trash to the curb instead of putting it in the trash room on your floor and then complaining about bugs? Probably. Should you set foot in the basement to do your laundry? Probably not, but then again, how many basements have you been into in New York that are nice? My guess is not too many. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PROPERTY! Check the reviews on Reddit. We've dealt with ongoing issues related to heating, water, and general maintenance. Management allows these problems to persist for weeks or even months, and they only respond if you constantly call or email. Even when things get 'fixed,' the same issues reappear shortly after. Akshay, who is supposed to manage day-to-day operations, is careless and unprofessional when addressing these concerns.

Do NOT rent or purchase property from this company. They value profits above all else. They will allow serious problems to persist such as no hot water, elevator breakdowns, mice and roach infestations, cracks in the building, leaks, broken cabinetry, and even intruders in their buildings. They do not properly communicate with tenants and only sometimes provide vague "updates" to problems in their buildings. They will raise rent with no upgrades to the building but instead the building is falling apart. STAY AWAY
