When we were about to close escrow we pointed out scratches on the floor. Five Toll representatives told us not to worry, we will get more scratches while moving in, "it is Under Warranty and we have guys who will take care of it. You won't even notice they were there." They have been stalling for nine months because they can't fix it. Then they replaced boards with new ones that Are Not Even Close to matching. Then they said, "oh yeah, sorry, it doesn't match". The floor is also warped in places. They want to put in More Boards that Don't Match!!??? Stay tuned. The repair of our hardwood floors has and continues to be a nightmare. There are numerous deep scratches throughout the home which they have not been able to repair for over 9 months. The floor is also not properly adhered to the subfloor, causing warping. We have asked for a brand new wood tile floor. Toll has refused, saying they want to move us totally out of the home for almost 3 weeks during a pandemic and attempt a process called screening. This will NOT fix the scratches or the difference in boards that they have attempted to replace. Nine months is an unacceptable time to wait to enjoy our home. The whole purpose of buying a new home was to NOT have projects surrounding us for months on end. I will NEVER buy another home from Toll Brothers.

I have purchased several homes from Tollbrothers and I’m writing this letter to let you know the shock and disappointment I had encountered at the sales office in the Lakeshore community with construction manager Paul Cunningham on March 13, 2020. As I was trying to explain one of the inconsistencies of the new build he turned his back on me and walked away even though I was continued to talk. The sales person and his assistance witnesses the interaction and were very apologetic of his behavior. The gentleman has no manners and was very unprofessional.
